North Eastern Victoria and the Alpine Region is one of the most popular areas for the enthisiast bird watcher.  Reported sighting around the park are Maned Duck · Pacific Black Duck · Australasian Grebe · Dusky Moorhen · Masked Lapwing · Black-fronted Dotterel · Pacific Heron · White-faced Heron.

A free entry all-seasons national park, Mount Buffalo has sheer cliffs, imposing granite tors, tumbling waterfalls, snow gums and stunning wildflowers.

During Summer you will enjoy all the beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails and in Winter it is perfect for the younger children and winter hikers.

Gapsted Wines is an Australian family-owned winery, located near Myrtleford in Victoria’s High Country, established in 1996.

Enjoy a wonderful afternoon sitting outside with beautiful views enjoying a lovely meal and wine tasting.

Mystic is one of Australia’s most popular mountain bike parks, with beginner to double black trails, XC, DH, gravity and weekly shuttles.

For a great feed and fantastic atmosphere you can’t go past either Don Mungos or Dr Mauve Bar & Lounge.

Don’t forget to try their cocktails at both venues.

The whole family will enjoy an afternoon out at Red Stag Deer Farm with the opportunity to feed, touch and learn about deer, emus and ostriches. Restaurant is open every day and if you get the chance (if not raining) sit outside on their balcony.
